We recognize that ESG issues can impact the performance of our portfolio companies across businesses, industries and geographies. We have aligned our ESG principles with the United Nations backed framework for Principles for Responsible Investment.

Based on our founding principles of responsible investing:
  • We incorporate ESG principles into our investment analysis and decision-making processes as well as our shareholding policies and practices
  • We ensure that our portfolio companies adopt the gold standard in Anti-Bribery and Corruption policies
  • We demand appropriate disclosure on ESG issues from our portfolio companies
  • We respect the human rights of people impacted by our investment activities and steer away from investments in companies that utilize child or forced labor or maintain discriminatory policies
  • We are committed to compliance with applicable national, state, and local labor laws in the countries where we invest

In addition to external support, the AT Capital Group has internal checks, systems and procedures to ensure good governance, compliance and control. AT Capital Group promotes sustainable social development through its investments and corporate responsibility programmes. We believe that companies should play a crucial role in taking care of the communities in which they operate.

    Parivaar, India

    Parivaar is a humanitarian organization inspired by the spiritual and humanistic ideals of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda, with its chief institutions based in West Bengal, India, and a recent second branch in Madhya Pradesh. For last 15 years, Parivaar has worked towards the total care and overall development of children who are highly vulnerable to exploitation, victimization and trafficking, including orphans, street children, abandoned children, and extremely impoverished children from tribal areas. It also conducts many more humanitarian activities for the destitute and uncared, including elderly and shelterless.

    With over 1800 children, Parivaar’s Residential Institutions are seen as a model institution in the field of caretaking and overall development of vulnerable children. Parivaar is one of the largest free residential homes for kids from destitute backgrounds in Eastern India. It is seen as a model institution in the field of care and overall development of vulnerable children, winning the 2011 National Child Welfare Award: the highest recognition by the Indian Government.

    CanKids, India

    CanKids…KidsCan is a not-for-profit National Society, dedicated to a Change for Childhood Cancer in India. CanKids enable best standards of treatment, care and support for children with cancer and their families from moment of diagnosis, through treatment and after into survivorship, or relapse, palliation and bereavement. It partner with treating cancer centers, national and international organizations and State Governments to provide support to families, build capacities, promote quality care, research and impact and facilitate stakeholder engagement and patient, family and civil society engagement.

    Through the Go Gold India campaign we advocate for childhood cancer to be a child health priority in India.

    CanKids is a grass root level organization of over 300 people (volunteers and employees). It is a registered charitable National Society, reflected in its 12A and 80G status under associated laws, dedicated to Change for Childhood Cancer in India.

    Cankids was set up in January 2004 in Delhi under the umbrella of Indian Cancer Society and, in June 2012, registered as a separate National Society. It is a member of CCI (Childhood Cancer International formerly known as ICCCPO) , which is affiliated to SIOP (International Society of Pediatric Oncology).In 2015 Cankids received its FCRA certification after successfully completing 3 years as an Independent National Society.

    AkshayPatra, India

    The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Bengaluru, India. The organisation strives to eliminate classroom hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in the government schools and government-aided schools. Alongside, Akshaya Patra also aims at countering malnutrition and supporting the right to education of socio-economically disadvantaged children. Since year 2000, Akshaya Patra has been concerting all its efforts towards providing fresh and nutritious meals to children on every single school day.

    Today, Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest (not-for-profit run) Mid-Day Meal Programme serving wholesome food every school day to over 1.7 million children from 14,314 schools across 12 states in India.

    The Dwarakamai Seva Trust is a registered non-profit organization working for the elderly who are homeless and towards improving their quality of life.It is a Vridhashram (Old-Age Home) that is committed to helping the homeless elderly by providing healthy food, medical facilities, and care required at this stage of life. It was founded in the year 1997 by Shri. B. Srinivas Rao (Founder & Managing Trustee).

  • GOONJ.. a voice, an effort

    Goonj is a non-governmental organisation headquartered in Delhi, India which undertakes disaster relief, humanitarian aid and community development in parts of 22 states across India. Goonj focusses on clothing as a basic but unaddressed need

    It was founded in 1999 by Anshu Gupta. For his work with Goonj, he was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 2015. In 2012, he was named India’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 by Schwab Foundation, a sister organization of World Economic Forum.
